Where has the time gone? Wasn’t it just New Years? Well, the February art show deadline is upon us. Today is the last day to enter the AFH Art Show. I hope everyone has a chance to upload something to Flickr. There is no theme. You have until midnight CST to upload.
Scanning the art work works well. But, If you do not have a scanner, just take a picture of your artwork with a camera or even your cell phone. Try to have even lighting and leave out any extra items that are not part of the art work out of the picture. I am often amazed at the quality of photos my cell phone takes. If you have a smartphone you can upload directly from the phone to Flickr.
Remember, you can enter pencil, pen, pastel, crayon, oil pastel, painting, collage or photography. Anything two dimensional can be entered. I look forward to seeing the entries. I am excited about the judge for this show too. The judge is a friend and art teacher of mine.
